Besa Fama

My name is Besa Fama, and I am the proud owner of Salon Besa.  I have been doing hair for over 21 years and felt that it was time for me to embark on a new journey of opening a salon. This is a dream come true and my mission is to provide my clients and everyone who enters the salon a beautiful experience. I love dedicating my time and creativity to my clients to ensure they have a great experience and leave feeling confident. Hair is an art form that allows us to express ourselves. It’s important to me that I am able to help my clients achieve their vision. Along with my training in color and haircutting, I specialize in extensions and special occasion hairstyles. "Choose the job you love and you never have to work a day in your life"-I am very blessed to live by this saying. Thank you to my clients, friends, and family for the support, encouragement, and love.

Bona Cano

Stylist & Make-Up

My dream to style hair began in Albania where I established my own salon and trained with some of the finest hairstylists in southern Europe. It has been a privilege to continue my career here, making Grosse Pointe my new home, and where I have worked for over 18 years. I’m  passionate about being a Stylist and I take pride in executing my clients wishes with creativity. Some of my specialities are color, cuts, blow outs, up-do styles,  highlights, and hair extensions. Throughout my career, I have continuously strived to further my knowledge and expertise, especially recently with hair extensions, as I am acquiring new certifications. My main goal has and will always be to provide my clients with the best experiences. My skills, versatility and unique sense of style combined with the respect I have for my clients has helped me get where I am today. My whole family, namely my husband, my two sons, and my daughter-in law, are my biggest supporters. They have cheered me on and inspire me everyday to move forward in my career. I’m forever grateful and excited to share my journey with all of you.

Theresa Lynn

Stylist

Some clients prefer an avant garde look, while others prefer a more commercial or Hollywood look.  My job is to bring out the best "you" and give you the look that best suits you.I have been doing hair for 28 years and I love it just as much today, as I did the first day I entered into this profession.  I spent many years traveling nationwide with Toni and Guy learning their extensive coloring and cutting techniques.  In addition to that, I also spent many years as a color mentor for L'Oréal Professional.  Being a color mentor allowed me to be up to date on all the latest technology that L'Oréal was bringing to the color world, while also learning new coloring techniques.  Having that knowledge also afforded me the ability to help and teach my peers. I am truly blessed being able to be apart of this amazing profession and to be apart of Salon Besa. I have met the most amazing people, been to some amazing places, and have been given the gift to make clients feel fantastic about themselves.
